AHJA, Inc.'s 34th Annual Horse Show is Aug. 11-14, 2011
at the Alaska State Fair Grounds France Equestrian Center
Our 2011 show, which will be August 11 - 14 at the Alaska
State Fair Grounds in Palmer, will benefit The Eva Foundation. The
mission of The Eva Foundation is the help survivors of abuse regain
their self confidence and independence to build a better life.
The foundation provides esteem-building necessities to help recovering
survivors secure an abuse-free future for themselves and their loved
ones.
For example, in 2010 one of the clients of The Eva Foundation received a
new set of teeth from the dentist (her abuser had damaged her original
teeth). Getting a hair cut or a new pair of glasses is something many
people take for granted, but these are services that can make a real
difference to an abuse survivor. There is a huge need for the services
The Eva Foundation provides. In 2010 the clients helped by The Eva
Foundation more than doubled from 2009.
